Calorie tracker for iPhone

Log food by just saying what you ate.

Tell it about your meal the way you'd tell a friend. It works out the calories and protein, shows its working, and logs it when you say so.

The Today screen: 785 calories left, with protein, carbs and fat bars and the day's meals.
A conversation in the app: someone types "Grilled chicken, roasted potatoes and a side salad for dinner", the app asks about portions and dressing, then logs dinner with an estimate for each item.

Just say it

A conversation, not a form.

No searching a database or weighing every gram. Type or dictate what you ate. If something matters, like the portion or the dressing, it asks. Then it shows an estimate for each item, and nothing is logged until you tap Accept.

An estimate card for dinner: grilled chicken breast 260 cal, roasted potatoes 220 cal and side salad with a little vinaigrette 90 cal, total 570 cal, with Accept and Edit buttons.
  • LabelNumbers you give it, from a packet or a menu, are logged exactly.
  • EstimateEverything it works out is marked as an estimate, everywhere.
  • Photo estimateSnap your plate or a nutrition label and it reads it for you.

Your progress

Track your progress. Reach your goal.

Logging is only half of it. Untethered Calories turns what you eat and what you weigh into a clear picture of where you’re heading.

  • Know what’s left

A daily budget for calories and protein that counts down as you log. Dinner is never a guess.

The Today screen: 785 calories left today, with protein, carbs and fat bars.
  • An honest week

Every day against your target, the days you went over, and averages that don’t hide the gaps.

The Week screen: a bar for each day against a dashed target line, one day over target and one with no data.
  • Weight, without the noise

Daily weigh-ins bounce around. A 7-day average shows the real direction. Works with Apple Health.

The Weight screen: 169.4 pounds, down 4.1 lb since Sep 9, with daily readings and a 7-day average line trending down.
  • See what’s working

After about three weeks, it puts what you ate beside how your weight moved, and estimates the calories you can eat to hold steady.

The Trend screen: four weeks of daily calories above a falling weight average.

Ready when you are

Just say what you ate.
